JumpCloud SSO

Configure a JumpCloud SSO connection so users can sign in to Trustle with their JumpCloud login credentials.

This connection is for sign-in only. It differs from the JumpCloud connector, which reads your JumpCloud users and groups for access insight. Configure both if you want JumpCloud sign-in and JumpCloud user and group data in Trustle.

Prerequisites

• A JumpCloud account with the Administrator role.
• Access to the JumpCloud Admin Panel.

Configure JumpCloud SSO

Log in to the JumpCloud Admin Panel

Go to console.jumpcloud.com/login/admin and sign in with your administrator account.

Create an SSO Application

1. Go to the SSO Applications page (Access > SSO Applications).
2. Click to create a new application.
3. Select the Custom Application option.
4. Select the Manage Single Sign-On feature and set it to Configure SSO with OIDC.
5. Set your app display name, for example Trustle SSO.
6. Confirm the review to go to the connection settings.
7. On the Configuration Settings page, set these values:
   1. Set the Redirect URI to https://console.trustle.io/__/auth/handler.
   2. Change the Client Authentication Type to Client Secret Basic.
   3. Set the Login URL to https://console.trustle.io/auth/login.
8. On the Attribute Mapping page, set the Standard Scopes to Email and Profile.
9. Activate the application.
10. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret.

Connect in Trustle

1. Go to the Connections page in Trustle from the left menu.
2. Under Identity Providers, find the JumpCloud logo.
3. Open the Settings tab and go to SSO under Connection Details.
4. Fill in the connection form:
   1. OIDC Client ID: paste the client ID you collected.
   2. OIDC Client Secret: paste the client secret you collected.
   3. Issuer URL: https://oauth.id.jumpcloud.com.
5. Click Save Configuration.

Security notes

Caution

Store the client secret only in Trustle. Do not share it in chat or commit it to version control.
